I owned a P365XL for several months and after hearing all the hoopla about the P365 I had to buy one to see what the fuss was all about. I owned it for about two months...long enough to show me I...
An acquaintance sent them an email inquiring when the mags would be available and that was their response to him.
Smith & Wesson states in a recent email regarding the Plus mag availability that it will be a few more weeks before they will be available as a separate item.
Hmmm....now you've gone and peaked my curiosity.... but not enough to part with any greenbacks.
My SP101 is a DAO. I can stage the hammer every time with a squeeze of the trigger. It is my...
Won't argue that as I have never had a professional trigger job. I do know that the trigger on my SP101 is glass smooth since I did the trigger and hammer springs. I also added hammer shims that I...
I went to THESE GUYS for hammer and trigger springs for my SP101. They also have them available for your Security Six.
I have an SP101 DAO .357 and it is by far my favorite gun and after the addition of Wolff hammer and trigger springs it has become my most enjoyable to shoot.

For my EDC I use a 5 shot LCR .357 loaded with .38 Spcl. I've carried a 6 shot .22WMR as a BUG, I've also carried the .22WMR as primary. I don't feel undergunned with either.
Thanks...the search is on....they're becoming rare.
Copngrats on the new Six. I have the same model in Stainless. Great guns....great shooters!!
I'd love to find a set of Trausch grips for it.
I am in the process of procurring an LCR 9MM.. this process will take me a few months as I'll be out of state.
I have a double HKS speedloader belt pouch. From what I understand 2 loaded 9MM 5...
I currently have HKS for my SP101 and Security Six... 5 Star for my .22WMR...I've decided to go with a Ruger LCR 9MM and moonclips.
Ha! Good stuff! Never heard that one before. To each their own.
I have a console gun safe in my vehicle and an additional one under the seat. I've stored ammo in it year round with no adverse...
Yep...I have a LCR 9MM on my long list.
My LCR 357 weighs in a 17oz which helps some with recoil. I practice with .38 Special 130 grain FMJ..and finish the session with ARX 77 grain. It's like night and day difference on recoil.
I just...
Maybe that's what gives them their increased velocity! :)
For what it's worth...the frame on the LCR 357 is indeed steel. The grip frame and fire control housing is polymer. But I also carry a...
I have the LCRx 3" in .22 WMR and really enjoy it...holding out for when it comes out in .357.
I guess that makes me other than a mainstream thinker... whatever that is.
Then tell me why you think it's a gimmick...and as you say marketing drivel.
FWIW I'd like to share a couple of thoughts on ammo out of the short barrel of an LCR.
It seems every article one reads regarding defensive ammunition two things stand out... the need for...
I have a LCR 357 that I have used as my EDC for the last two years with intermittent stand-ins from my SP101 which it replaced. I chose the LCR in .357 caliber for a number of reasons. First is that...
Actually the Pachmayr Diamond Pro's are a little stouter than the factory grips. That's why your statement surprised me.
I carry an LCR .357 as my EDC and I tried a set of the Diamond Pro's on it...
Interesting that you say that. I have a SP101 Spurless with Pachmayr Diamond Pro grips that I use in timed competition with speedloaders and have never had a problem. Use those same speedloaders on...
Here is what I purchased for my SP101.
I own an LCR in .357...the cylinder and frame are stainless steel as are the frames in the 9mm Luger and .327 Federal Magnum models. I primarily shoot .38+p ammo with mine, but purchased it for the...
