Gonna see if I can review it for one of the NRA pubs later this year.
Yeah I mean, nothing they could have done about that given the magazines it feeds off of.
This is why the new C is interesting, with the 4" barrel.
OP why not just get a Tisas Build Kit or their cheaper guns or something along those lines?
The CS is smaller.
Not to get all semantically weird, I was just trying to show that the CS and C are similar in that the C is only slightly larger, the way the 17 is slightly larger*
CS: [New] C :: Glock 19: Glock 17
It will make the most sense that way.
I shot the 1911A1 ASF yesterday afternoon. I too am impressed with the fit and finish across the board. However the grip safety burrowed into my hand and after 166 rounds, I had to scrub my DNA off...
Never had an issue talking about any 1911 under the "semi-auto" sub-form, which the gun is.
And this place is more about pistols in general than one make or model vs the rest.
Taking it down, it looks good and clean on the inside. Titanium firing pin.
The sights are trash but we all know this. But on the surface it seems well-made. I wish I were a trained gunsmith to be...
Nice find!
I just got my hands on a brand new, unfired Tisas 1911A1 ASF for review.

Fit and finish is nice, not a lot of chatter or tool marks on...
I put a few rounds through the new "C" at their Range Day at what used to be Front Sight.
Sadly it was only five or six rounds. Besides the confusing name, the gun seems nice but obviously 5-6...
What generation of M&P was that?
Plastic guns are an entirely different animal with a different rail to slide relationship, generally speaking.
Well, here's my official review for the Walther PDP Steel Match Frame
Frankly, I wrote this right after Christmas, so it's kinda old news (round count wise and such).
...
Their names can be a bit confusing.
After now feeling both in my regular 5" and the new Match, I gotta say I think that standard trigger is very damn good. I do really like the way it breaks...
You are correct.
I am familiar with both triggers.
The Performance Duty Trigger comes by default on standard models, and the Dynamic Performance Trigger is available as an upgrade (and also shows up in select...
Here is my personal review on the full size 5 inch PDP, better late than never.

I know this thread is literally a year old, but just to reply to the title/question....
My answer is, if the conservative Gunsite Academy has a mounted Dot On the Gunsite Glock 45, then you know...
This! The 21" guns (Pro or not) are so damn similar that I'm curious if they're maybe best all-around of the 1301 family.
Re: Heatshields
Outside of shooting a lot in a class or when...
No issue when dry-firing outside.
I sighted in at an indoor range. For what it's worth this is the green dot version (wanted to play with green just to explore it)
Again the party just started...

Out of all the dots Ive messed with, which weren't too many, the only one I couldn't replicate it with was the Steiner MPS (I wonder if thats because its inverted?)
Crap, I meant to post this sooner.
I've been so busy this summer.
