Is Glock still the easiest to get spare parts for? What about the M&P?
Speaking of magazine releases. I much prefer low profile, and single side magazine releases. My concern is greater of...
The SP2022 prices seem to have increased since I last looked at them.
After all the good reports, a jetfire’s testing, I tend to trust the .38 Taurus revolvers. If the TH series were to be as reliable and durable, then they would be a tempting option.
Edit to add:...
How did the P229 in your agency hold up?
I know you don’t like the DAK, but I do. Though my experience with it was mostly in the P226 platform. There are good condition DAK P229s out there.
If you want TDA, then I think the P-07 makes a lot sense.
There is a listing for used railess P229s in .40 that appear to be in great condition. Those are a bit tempting, but the P-07 still makes...
Christ is Risen!
A happy and blessed Easter to all.
If money was no object, and I didn’t need a functioning tractor, then I would try a USPc LEM with thumb safety.
I think the P-07 is good enough as is out of the box, and despite it being DA/SA,...
Will these be “Series 80” like previous Sigs or “Series 70”?
VCD and I both seem to be missing a price list, if one has even been listed.
Where the copies you tried .380 or 9mm?
What issues did you see with the EZ Shield?
In about 45 minutes-
9-10 x 10 30 lb dumbbell curls
Deadlift
1 x 4-6 reps 365
1 x 3-4 reps 315
Specifically power lifting? Maybe a federation has a source?
That actually looks really nice, and way better than the factory look.
How does the XD handle the 10mm?
What is unique about the 6280LASD?
Seems like the ALS might put the thumb in the right location to naturally take the safety off. Though I’ve heard the ALS doesn’t work as well with the 92.
Was that holster the 280s?
Wish I could find one in plane black but they are all basketweave from what I can find.
I’m the odd man out. For me, a hammer is a must have. Preferably spurless, but I’ll take a spur over no hammer.
DAO with a spurless hammer is what I prefer, but I understand the desire for a...
Your style of lifting, and your stories are some of my favorite. If I could go back in time and lift in any era, it would be yours.
315 x 15 front squat makes me want to puke just thinking...
Dude. That is simply impressive!
The feeling you get when you are reaching failure on heavy hi rep deadlifts is something rather unique.
I’m surprised that someone has not developed a quality aftermarket thumb safety for the Gen 5. There has to be enough of a market that it would generate a profit for whoever did it.
Also the way...
Dang! 147 and talk? That’s strong dude , 315 x 20. I’ve never done that.
The 405 was way less taxing than the 225. Though finishing out the 405 was kind of like a deadlift/shrug combo. It was not pretty. lol
I am mixed about what I dislike more, squats or deadlifts....
Deadlift today.
405 x 1
225 x 32- Yes, I used a lot of bounce, but it was still a truly unpleasant experience. Especially the last 5-7 reps. While I didn't time myself, I bet this was done in...
Everyone should be rooting for Taurus. They seem to be doing a lot of good work and they clearly are improving.
Do the Rossi revolvers have a bit smoother pull than the 856 series? I’m asking...
I actually wish I had focused on the M&P with safeties for my striker fired gun vs Glocks. There is a lot to like about both platforms, but a factory safety option is great.
Over a decade ago I...
Anyone can screw up and have a bad day and do a terrible job. It’s the cost of having humans run a business. Of course those same humans are also capable of humbling a person with their kindness and...
