I'll never not be able to call it the "Parody" now.
I had no idea they were this close to my house. I pray all turns out well for them, but knowing this may have just cost me some money.
Okay, so maybe I'm not crazy. I mentioned this in my previous post and am considering getting a steel commander now for SS this year instead of a government size.
I don't have personal experience with the current Springfield offerings in that size. Though I do own a Range Officer Elite Champion (their LW commander) in .45 that has a few thousand rounds...
The Spectre Goldfinger Edition with blinking lights is going to be amazing.
That said, I've pretty much talked myself into getting this one whenever I can get my hands on one.
It's internally hammer fired. As for the optic, my guess is they are getting close on weight and need the sights off for the gun to be reliable with an optic on it.
I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn...
I saw 400 stated in the Humblemarksman video
Ron Cohen happened is what they were thinking. That being said, they are sure churning out all sorts of options using the modularity concept. Which I can't really be mad at them for.
Has anyone had any issues with the optic getting fouled from spent gases from the LCI?
Someone over on the Enos forums called Sig and was told it started with production at the end of February. I believe they mentioned another SKU was going to get the change as well.

Good morning DW people. I have held off commenting until the compact was introduced and I know you have lots of questions.
Please be sure to...
Only thing I'm seeing is that it says it's swappable. So in theory an aftermarket one could work.
From their own statements, it was initially designed as a USPSA Limited gun. Which doesn't allow optics. Carry Optics doesn't allow single action triggers. So with the concept initially being that...
This may have just cost me some money.

Images of these in other people's hands are almost painful at this point.
Likely headed this direction myself. Tired of waiting.
That actually makes a whole lot of sense.
Nordic components makes one that will take Glock or M&P mags by changing the magwell adapter. The ones I have seen shooting PCC run well.

I may have missed this previously, but I saw a black 2.0 Pro-Series this morning on their site and don't remember seeing that before. Maybe the CORE model is coming next?

They have it listed:

Supposedly same bottom half as the 48, just shorter barrel. Note the background pistol.
This pic is making the rounds now

I had all but settled on a 19.5 MOS and a 45 for the two GSSF certs I need to burn. Maybe worth waiting a few weeks just in case. There had been posts on some Glock forums mentioning the same...
