I've been looking at some palm swell grips for my M9s. How do the LOK palm swells compare to the VZs in your experience? My hands are pretty average sized.

I took all of the Aridus parts off of my 1301 Tac and returned to stock, using a GGG light/sling mount. The Aridus stuff was neat, just not really worth the money for me personally.
After using the Aridus/Magpul setup, I'm considering going back to stock... Unfortunately, I somehow cross threaded the rear stock bolt... Does anyone who upgraded to the Magpul setup have one laying...
I only did both for 922(r) reasons.
Has anyone tried the aridus/Magpul parts and returned back to a stock setup? I have the full aridus complement to my 1301 tactical, and while it's nice, I'm not sure it's worth the extra cost to me....
Has anyone used a Tactical and Competition side by side? I'm thinking I might try to trade my Tactical for a Comp just to have a more general purpose shotgun, as this is my only one, and I'm not sure...
Correct. I don't typically leave a round chambered, just staying the maximum capacity of the gun in this configuration. Obviously with the extension I'd have +2
No, 5 in the tube, 1 on the lifter, 1 in the chamber.
Since buying the GGG sling/light mount, I removed the front clamp and rail. Decided to go a little further and try out a back-to-basics setup that puts my mind at ease re:922(r). I actually like it a...
All of this 922r nonsense makes me just want to stick with the stock tube and no extension. I guess I'm more afraid of an overzealous DA than needing 8 vs 6 rounds.
I ditched the clamp on my Nordic ext and have been using the GGG sling/picatinny mount on the left side. That lets me eliminate the pressure pad and activate the light with my thumb, which I prefer...
I feel the same. And being in CA, modern rifle options are limited, so I defer to shotguns anyway.
It's mine
Thanks for the feedback on the Remington. It is a good general purpose shotgun I suppose. I'll have to think harder about keeping it vs going all modern.
Here are some more pictures, since people...
Yes, you're right of course. You guys are doing a great job of convincing me to just keep it. I'd like the ability to mount a light though, without screwing in to anything.
I have this 1919 Remington Model 11 that I don't really know what to do with. My go-to is my 1301T, and I'm trying to find a purpose for this one, vs selling it to help fund another 1301, possible a...
My factory new condition SKS' are my go-to rifles, since I live in CA. Though my primary long gun is my 1301T d/t the ability to mount a light and have an optic, which is the big downside to the SKS,...
I've been living this for a while, being in CA. I've had a ton of different AR and AK Californicated setups, and never was comfortable thinking of them as defensive options due to the modifications...
Just got mine out to the range yesterday too, and had the same experience. Seems accurate and reliable, but new sights would be nice.
Good thread. I really appreciated the hardware quality and cool factor of the LTT RDO on my M9A1, but didn't click with the red dot concept like I wanted to to justify the cost ($900 with optic), and...
I wish they'd release an aluminum charging handle too. I don't like the feel of that plastic piece.
IMO, the recoil of the 1301 is much lighter than any pump I've shot in the past, including a very heavy 590A1. I don't enjoy shooting pump guns at all, and I don't find the Beretta heavy recoiling...
I've had mine for about 3 months and it's been excellent. Are there any replacement bolt handles available? I'm not a huge fan of polymer and would prefer an aluminum handle.
