I'd like to see a Swenson reproduction too. When I was young I would read the various gun rags of the day and almost drool on the pictures of custom 1911 pistols, especially Swenson 1911s'.

If Glock had developed something like this it might of been our new military pistol instead of the Sig 320.

A full size 1911 in 9MM with good ammo. It pains me to say that over a 1911 in .45ACP, but it is what it is.

I will have to shoot mine again next week. I did try to replace the grips, but I think the specifications on the Tisas are off as some others have reported. Guess I'll just buy another set of grips...

Did the Tisas come with the sights that way from the factory or did you change them out for Novak Sights?

There is also "The Answer" made and installed by Novak which completely eliminates the grip safety.

I had a P85 and I wish I had kept it. It was built like a tank and I thought the trigger was as good as a Sig. This thread has me looking for one again.

I can't understand the daughter, She needs to take a speech class or something, although that seems typical of most young people today. A lot of these kids need to drink a big cup of shut the F up.

I shot my Tisas JSOC this afternoon. The good news is the factory had made no attempt to lower the rear sight and it was shooting high. I was able to lower it to where the pistol was shooting POA....

I recently purchased a Tisas JSOC and the rear sight from the factory is adjusted almost to the top. I'm hoping the factory didn't sight it in and I can lower the rear Bo-Mar like sight at the range...

I found it did feel different when I shot my 1911 with a flat wired spring, but it went away in a few magazines.

The Wilson Flat Wire Recoil Springs are shorter than the regular round springs and this makes it easier for me to reassemble the 1911 using both LAV and Hilton's method.
