Have the barrel cut for chokes.
Thank you for the information. Obviously I'm not a gunsmith or working on shotguns regularly. Saving the old tube wasn't a priority and they're pretty inexpensive so destroying the tube was...
Given the material and coating, is it safe to assume removing the mag tube will be considered a consumable regardless of the process used?
The tube is threaded in and has thread locking compound on it. However, it is screwed in more than hand tight. I couldn't squeeze the tube tight enough to get it to break free even after heating it...
I just did the mag tube replacement last weekend. I couldn't get the 7rd tube out without damaging it, despite using heat. It wasnt hard to get out but it was tight for sure.
I got the factory 7rd tube to 240F and was unable to get it out by hand. Knipex Cobras got it out but it is ruined. Oh well, the 5rd tube screwed right in.
We'll see. It's going to have to be perfect for me to swap out the charging handle I just bought.
Someone on another forum used a propane torch and burned the tube like a beer can in a campfire.
I have a 5rd tube coming so I guess I'll be the guinea pig. I have a heat gun though.
I actually have the Thorntail SBR. The Long Bar would move the light further forward. Additionally, I have the Arisaka canted offset mount, the Thorntail places the light approximately the same...
I don't have that specific light, I have an Arisaka M600. It is mounted on a Thorntail Long Bar.

Most slugs will work with Modified choke tubes too. There are options beyond Cylinder and Improved Cylinder to change patterning.
I have a Holosun 508R on my 1301. I like it quite a bit and find...
The nice thing about 7rd cards is they can be turned into 6, 5, or 4 round cards if you don't like how long they are.
MGW has C59948 back in stock.
Larger OD and knurled.
The Briley charging handle could be an upgrade if they redesigned the knob. Securing the threaded on knob to the shaft is pretty easy. I just felt like the knob was better suited to a bird or...
I'll have to take your word for it, I avoided all of the options without the keyed detail. I have the Ti charging handle. I would prefer it were larger in diameter and knurled but it works just fine...
No VAT.
One piece, non rotating, titanium charging handle

MGW has been making aftermarket A400 bolt handles for years. The primary complaint is that it rotates. As far as I know there is only one non rotating one piece bolt handle on the market.

The light mount is on the opposite side of the designated hand; ie left side light for right hand model.
I don't own the pic thorntail but I do own the Arisaka in the link and a MLOK thorntail. They both angle in about the same but the IWC mount has some elevation adjustment built in.
The M300/600 scout light is a defacto standardized footprint used by a bunch of light body and mount manufacturers. The Arisaka should bolt to any light called an M300.
Arisaka has an offset Pic mount for a 300/600 series light body. If you want the light mounted further forward you can turn the opposite side GGG pic mount around.

Aluminum.
All of the 1301's are choked, even the LE models without the removeable choke tubes.
