Clearly Paul Sharp is the Agent Franks to Craig’s Earl Harbinger.
“They don’t know it, but the wrath of the Lord is about to descend on them.”
That and “whackin’ a surly bartender”are so great.

Totally agree. It should be (maybe it is [emoji41]) the dumbest thing ever but we loved it. Johnny steals the show, every time he screams “QUIET!” at his students you know it’s about to get good.

Yeeaah, I probably should quit talking about it and be about it [emoji41]
I think I bought it around 1995 for around $400, so it’s appreciated just a bit.
It still blows my mind that Dave Grohl was almost Tom Petty’s drummer after Nirvana. I wouldn’t make that connection in a million years but I guess it’s all rock n roll.
Gotta love Dave’s reaction-...
Even as a non car guy I find the hybrid technology stuff they’re doing fascinating, plus I’ve always just had a thing for the NSX.

In the issue from the OP I spotted an ad for a local gunsmith that’s still around (though semi-retired). Pretty neat.
Amen! There’s something very steampunk about cramming a bunch of high tech and advanced weapons into something that old.
It’s just amazing to me that in all this time we haven’t come up with a...
I just ran across this article about how they’re going to revamp the B-52 and keep it in service.
If successful some of those planes will serve for close to 100 years.

No direct experience with USAA, other than finding their rates way too high to justify doing business with them. But I’ve lived in San Antonio for the last 25 years or so and known a lot of employees...
Too late for this year, but if you want the perfect Christmas tree ornaments:

That’s what I like about Sturgill, his dedication to not making the same album over and over.
I shared this video with a buddy who plays the saxophone. He was blown away by the horns and I had to...

I’m absolutely not his target audience but still enjoy his podcasts, interviews and TV shows. His wider perspective on nature is always interesting.
I don’t remember ever reading Shogun, guess I’ll have to fix that.
Pretty decent podcast about William Adams here:

Weird, I don’t remember Waldo von Erich at all, just Fritz and the sons. They actually did a publicity appearance at my small town high school, it was a HUGE deal [emoji3]
Watching wrestling with my granddad back in the late 70s, on their big ‘ol Zenith console TV. I think it was WCW back then- Dusty Rhodes, Andre the Giant, the Von Erichs, and of course “Nature Boy”...
