    Carry gun

Ran with my normal frame P365X setup and felt good about it.

Lots of fun adding complexity. GJM YVK
  3. Awesome

Okay, this is kind of my new favorite thing.

Tried it at the range and it works like a red dot… in green. GJM it will look very much like the 507c in green.

I actually looked back at my LabRadar data and with Speer Lawman 124gr, it makes 125pf out of a P365XL barrel (so probably would make it out of the threaded barrel).

    I agree. A couple years...
  6. Okay, for more dumb and more fun

I ordered an SAS ported barrel and slide for the P365 system since they stopped making them and I wanted to test that against a compensator.

    Caution

Note that the Shadows don't have a firing pin block.

That coupled with the extended firing pin (which isn't necessary anyway) makes these guns decidedly NOT drop safe and a drop on the hammer...

    Very Cool

I would be very interested in this sight if it does everything they say it does.

That being said, I've not been impressed with Sig Optics in the past. Good concepts, spotty execution.

    Okay, tried it

    That was interesting.

For the sake of experimentation, I didn’t do any warm up or anything to prepare.

I just patched my right eye and planned to do a quick draw, follow up shot and transition...

    Testing

Did a few Bill drills with and without the Razorback frame.

    Hard to say.

I like the feel but it does change the index.

It did not seem to improve split times or accuracy significantly.

Working non-dominant eye with a dot.

So we practice strong hand / weak hand in case of injury…

But what if you had a dominant eye injury as a dot shooter in the middle of a fight?

It never occurred to me to test what might happen....

    Couple of updates:

Looks like the Pmags do drop free with a little cleaning and waxing.

They won’t be CO legal coming in around 150mm.

So it’s going to be “Open” if I use it at a match.

The 507k on my P365 has quite a bit of parallax.
    Even compared to my 507c.

But was still able to do this five shot group at 20 yards from a bench rest with the gun and optic.
