My guess is a more affordable tactical shotgun from Beretta.
I think it was in the TFB TV video with Beretta's GM this possibility was mentioned. Something like an A300 tactical.
I did not have much difficulty. I "wound" the spring a little to reduce the circumference and it fit.
I have a 5 shot 1301 with a KZ +2 extension, GG&G light mount, and I am using a stock 1301 spring.
The Aridus follower drops me from 7 to 6 shots.
Someone in the YouTube comments mentioned they ran into this issue.
I was able to order a couple of them when I called.
Something else that can be done to shorten a SGA stock is to replace the SGA buttpad with a buttpad from a X-22 stock. You'll have to call Magpul directly to order this part. Below is the item...
