It's a good day
This might be what gets me to finally buy a Glock... I mean this is just about the setup I'd been bouncing around in my head to finally make the jump, but put together by the only folks I trust to do...
well this will be interesting
It's probably a US made one now as a 922R part.
VZ standard, Hogue, or LOK. Plus I think the Beretta USA proshop has some (probably sourced from one of these guys)
Looks like for the Beretta 92 there's now a factory mount on the 92X and the M9A4, though I don't think there's an official list yet for plate footprints.
PSA: I saw the Beretta setup on a US 92 in the back of their booth at SHOT 2020 (so late January?), so it's been around for a minute. Probably just didn't make sense to throw a new release out there...
Follow up: 200 rds at the range to zero and settle in. I have one of the old MOD4 Compact Carrys that has a few thousand rounds through it, and I've been doing a lot of rounds through an Elite with...
It has arrived, and been properly equipped. Hitting the range this weekend to a) get back into the swing of things, and b) to finally get some real time on a pistol with optics....
At the end of the day, the shogun market is pretty small compared to the wider firearms industry, and the majority of the shotgun market in the US is the pump action platforms.
I have some...
The ammo backlog is sitting at 1.5 years, various gun manufacturers are in the same boat, if not double that. 4 months is nothing with where all this is going.
I'm excited about all this. I was getting into shooting USPSA for fun/to tighten up my skills, but the investment to get a rig up to snuff lost out in priority to getting my carry setup built and...
I think all their "LE" SKUs are sans choke tubes. Thinking being that LE guns benefit from one fewer part that can go wrong.
We just had an ND at a match about a month back (I happened to skip the match, but the news went out via social). Older guy shooting USPSA for the first time Glock legged himself holstering for make...
Easy way to tell if you already have an LTT TJ is the single action reset. If its so short it makes you laugh (I think its 1 or 2 mm) and then has no pre-travel before its back at the wall, then it...
Looks like that is a Vertec D slide, so LTT should be able to mill it for RDO. As for best trigger setup, my understanding is that for a D gun, you want to go with the Wilson trigger bar (lengthens...
Ooo, futures speculation and gun stuff? Two of my favorite things. My bet is $34.99 a box at the bigger range/LGS if they even have 124gr AE (which I put at around 2% likelyhood). Either way, I gave...
If you can swing it, do it. I've handled a few of Ernest's full build guns with NP3 and they are smoooooth.
Carry Optics here I come! Only question is do I send a full size slide to ride on my Elite, or my 92X Centurion slide because sight radius no longer matters...
I dont think the B92 barrels were ever CHF. They're made from rectangular stock, not round (to account for the locking lugs).
It is (or at the very least, mine is). I think the only ones that aren't are the stainless and black nitrided stainless (Wilson Combat) models.
Beretta PX4 Compact: Didn't like looking at it, made a face when I picked it up (wasn't a huge fan of the ergonomics or the lack of texture), and then I shot it.... I was very confused. Smoother and...
I'm in. 53914
Well, this has put me over the edge on doing a PX4 Full size build. Let the spending begin!
That full size PX4 from LTT is a tank. One of those with the LTT special sauce, and maybe his optics cut to assuage the followers of the dot does make for a mean setup if you're a DA/SA shooter. Do...
