There’s got to be something lost in translation here. There’s no way Staccato is going to authorize switching grip frames back and forth. They won’t even authorize factory trained armorers to swap...
I’m betting these are just as heavy, and shoot as poorly as my current MCX. I wouldn’t bother.
Not a CS obviously, but my P and C2 will shoot AE 147, 147 HST, and Fed 147+p Solid Core all in the same group at 25. Which is nice. Oddly enough, the 147 Fed syntech is about 1” low 🤷*♂️
Let’s go back to this. I’d love a 2011 baseplate that doesn’t dent every time I dump it on concrete. (We train a lot on an all concrete range).
I agree about the magazine. I wouldn’t be surprised to see that become the standard magazine across the product line in the future.
If you already have a stock of standard 2011 mags, the new C won’t do anything the C2 can’t. I’m fully invested in “standard” 2011 mags and pouches. The CS and new C “short” (CS) grip aren’t short...
I’m interested to try the new C. I hope it shoots more like a C2 than a CS. I find the CS to be much snappier than the C2. I shoot an aluminum frame C2 and a steel P back to back, and don’t see a...
I’ve personally seen multiple examples of CS pistols that have fired hundreds of rounds each in an afternoon with no cleaning or lube. All were straight out of the bag they came in. I have full faith...
I purchased 200 of these about 2 months ago, but have yet to get out and test them. Maybe soon (tm). They are nickel cases and appear to have primer sealant.
Seems reasonable. When my duty pistol was a G19, then a G45- sticking with the G43 made sense. We are no longer a Glock duty pistol agency, so I’m no longer married to Glock.
With so many options available (i.e. P365, Shield Plus) that are 10+ in the same package, what is the appeal of sticking with a G43 with 6?
My experience with the G43 is mostly negative. I’ve...
This mirrors the performance of the G43 at my agency.
I agree on all points. The daughter makes me want to yell at the TV. I unfortunately finished the second episode. I had really high hopes, as I loved the original series. However, if it doesn't...
I agree, I tried one book with Bosch as a PI and it just wasn't for me. I really liked it when he was still at LAPD.
You really need to try a V2 509T. The glass is much better. Not as good as the 507 Comp, but much better that the v1 of the 509T.
Key word- “was”
PF always ahead of the curve.
You say it like there's something wrong with that. Hooded sun shirts are ALL I wear to the range these days. I hate lathering on sunscreen. KUIU are some of my favorites.
I compete in a battle...
So far my Gen 4 G20 has been nothing but reliable. Ammo problems yes, but it feeds, fires, extracts, and ejects everything I’ve put through it. At least 300 rounds of the “heavy stuff” and 500-600...
The Underwood 200 HC exhibited poor accuracy, as in 6-8” groups at 25 yards, and had two split cases. They promptly exchanged the ammo for 140 penetrators at my request.
The Grizzly Cartridge...
I agree 100% that lower 48 grizzlies need to be hunted in sustainable numbers. OC has a place, which I think is mostly for discouraging a curious but not immediately aggressive bear, I would not use...
I was using 140 Underwood Lehigh. This year I’ve switched to the G9. Accuracy is about the same (2-2.5” @ 25 yards). I like the G9 projectile better and ballistic tests seem to indicate that it will...
I’m not sure if you’re replying to things I didn’t say- or if you’re just speaking in general. I made no statement that every bear that is within proximity to a human should be shot. Every incident...
Surely you jest.
I’ve never used OC on a bear, but I have on persons in my professional capacity. I have never, and will never use OC on something or someone that is posing an imminent lethal...
