Thanks Jon.

I would not bet against you. I thought the case was interesting for a couple of reasons. First, the plaintiffs did not go down the “my gun shot me without the trigger moving” road. They essentially...
Sig has won summary judgement in one of the “uncommanded” discharge cases. I have included a link below.

I do have a fondness for SKS. I have a couple of ‘54 Tulas (one refurb, one not). A couple of /26\ from the 70’s, a Cugir from the 50’s, and a “Paratrooper “ originally from ‘63.
Is it still the consensus that P320s manufactured after 6/1/2019 are good to go?
Thanks for the reply.
Rob
Thanks Jon. I ask because I have the commercial version of the M17 and M18. I prefer them to the standard P320 due to the fact that they have the manual safety.

Thanks for the reply.

@lw16, JoninWA, HCM,
What is your current take on the post May 2019 320, and post May 2019 M17 & M18? Good to go, or still problematic? If still problematic, what are the issues as you see them?...
Indeed, I did notice that for a single coil torsion spring the striker block spring on my 320 had a fair amount of resistance, more than I expected from looking at pictures of the spring. So, it...
I took it to the range yesterday for its first outing, and it did quite well. It has a very nice trigger. Very smooth, not too light but not heavy either. So far, I'm pretty pleased.
Well, I finally took the plunge and purchased a P320 (Born on date of 5/21). After much research (Much thanks to lwt16 and HCM for their research into the matter) I feel fairly confident that the...
We hail from a time when ships were wood, and men were steel, and men of steel fought with wood and steel. :D
As a Boomer I can say, I still like my Mini-14, and M1A a lot. I certainly would not want to be on the business end of either. :D
From a technical standpoint, they do have a higher bore axis in that the axis is higher from the shooters grip than say a Glock. But I don't feel like it affects the way it shoots appreciably recoil...
I've got a few DAOs that I like to shoot. P229 DAO, P229 DAK, and a P250. All in .40.
I have a CZ 75d Compact PCR that I am quite fond of.
I would suggest that shooting any ammunition out of a platform that was not designed to shoot that ammunition is probably not the best possible choice,
I have both, and I enjoy shooting and carrying both. I know that doesn't help much.
For me there are simply too many questions surrounding the reported unintended discharges to invest in the P320 platform. At this point, I just wouldn't feel comfortable carrying it. Hopefully,...
Yes, that is correct. Except in the picture he has the striker oriented upside down. The torsion spring actually holds the striker block down until it is pushed up by the safety lever in the frame...
The following link is a Youtube video by SigGuy showing the disassembly of the striker assembly which gives you a very good view of it.

Indeed. Another thing that is at least interesting, is that with the P365 Sig went back to the plunger type striker block with the compression spring. Significant? Perhaps yes, perhaps no. But,...
The P320 does have a striker block, but it is a completely different design than the rest of Sig's pistols. Most of Sig's semi-auto pistols have a plunger type block with a multi-coil compression...
I do have a question if you are able to answer without betraying your trust. Do you know if it was a recently manufactured gun (2019 or later) or was it older?
