Well.... here is something.

If the S&B used a Sierra 77gr bullet they would most likely advertise it.
FWIW, I recently found out BHA loads the D556N9 5.56 OTM load with a Hornady produced 77gr OTM ( only produced for Black...
FWIW.. With the 127+P+ , My SP101 chrono'd right there with yours. At the same time my friends SP101 in .357 Mag ( same barrel length ) chrono'd the same'ish velocity with Rem. 125gr Scalloped...
M855A1 isn't that hard to source.
...
From Dr. Roberts "Time for a Change" report. ...
FWIW... I suspect the Anodizing is the part that isn't even... not the CNC machine work.
I spoke to guys that anodize for a living and they said anodizing can easily be applied un evenly... ( IE...
Sometimes... I can getter done, Lol
I prefer a dead blow buffer. IE USGI type with weights. Minimize bolt bounce and all that.
No powdered weight.
FWIW...I just ordered some of the KAK K-Spec buffers to try......
FWIW... the SOLGW upper is also a MUCH snugger fit on every lower I tried.
IMHO a tight fit between the upper and lower makes it far easier to wield the AR more consistently.
BCM lower was TIGHT....
I am a true believer in the "True n' Glue".
FWIW, the various lapping tool's , I have tried, have certain uppers they worked well with.
Brownells, thermal fit uppers like BCM
PTG , used to...
Myself, I don't think many manufacturer's would share their "secret tricks"... kinda like a NASCAR team sharing their secrets.
But I have applied many of Criterion's recommendations , and IMHO...
And this doesn't appeal to me either.

So, does anyone know if there is any truth to LC cancelling commercial contracts ?

Beretta Model 70 /110195 71
IMHO, buy now, prior to an Election.
And FWIW... I "kinda" feel like PSA / AAC ammo prices, have helped lower the across the board costs.
Those 16.1" Ruger velocities are low, My 9x19 chrono data out of a 16" PSA Colt Pattern upper..
My results...
Speer 124gr GD...................................1376fps
Speer +P 124gr...
That is exactly the report I was looking for, Thank You
I don't know how to explain this test... so here I go..
I remember reading about a "USGI" test, from the '70s ( ? ) that assigned a wound value to every square inch on a man sized body.

My apologizes.. my comment wasn't to minimize the work shown.
It was very interesting.
Lead Free bullets have come a LONG way since the introduction of them.
It is good to see that is continuing.
Thank You for sharing.
Interesting.
Kinda Pointless ?! ... but sure interesting.
Thanks for sharing.
Do you have a link?
My morbid side would like to see what I missed.
Thank you
