I'm a new shooter, but my 2 cents.
I prescribe to the "Sul position". It's how I been taught and it makes sense to me. Having said that, I think that the press-out is independent of "Ready...
We really need some one to sell those TRS tool that HK people supposedly have.
It takes me 5 min to 30 min to install one of these things. That doesn't bother me. The little tool marks I end...
I'd say DA trigger on a HK to a Sig is like what Yugo is to a BMW.
A DA on a HK feels like there is a rubber band some where between the trigger and hammer. (Some thing is flexing in there !) ...
Don't forget the HK USP compact !
although, p2000 may be better due to the grip insert. I assume that grip size is similar.....(uses the same mag).
I tried it too, but the problem is that however I do it, it's pretty darn uncomfortable. It's down right painful, if I grasp the gun at the strength that I want to.
My hands are probably too...
Just wanted to pitch in there that it's almost impossible to do a "press out" at speed without using both of your eyes. Keeping both eye open is definitely a PLUS for shooting at speed.

I'm a new shooter as well and I have not gotten much past where you are. As mentioned, do the ball and dummy drill. You'll find that you are doing all sorts of funky stuff just prior to ignition...
but....I bet who ever gets shot with it will think that it's viable. Point being, if YOU can shoot it well, I think any gun in major caliber is viable.
IMHO. Unless if you are walking in to a...
I hope you subscribe to the "press out" method. (Probably do, judging by the fact you are here) Nothing more embarrassing than landing a round near your foot.... That's exactly why I think light...

I'm a relatively new shooter, but I'll put in my 2 cents as I've played with my USPc LEM a bit. I'm going to address your specific questions and then make a generic statement.
(BTW, v1 is light lem...
I'm reading this thread with a lot of interest. I'm a new shooter with a 9mm usp-c LEM. I now have approximately 3000 rounds through this gun. (or any gun. Like I said, I JUST started shooting) ...
