I'm trying to decide if I want to sew through the back and the supposed vapor barrier or through the front when I sew the velcro on.
Finally needed a SmartCarry again, so I ordered up one of these kydex shells. Do most people attach these via screws or velcro in this instance? I'm assuming the velcro would need to be sewn in?
Ah! Excellent. Thanks!
My google fu may be off, but I couldn't find anything wiht a search for JDev pad other than a bunch of articles on Java developers... What is this pad you speak of?
That would helpful, huh?
M&P Shield in 9mm.
I work in an NPE and because of that I've been using a smart carry for the past three years. Like most things in my life, im pretty hard on them. I was thinking a kydex insert/ pocket holdter might...
I don't have any experience with it, but I think Crossbreed made a leather (or leather-looking) "instructor belt" with velcro only as the closure. Maybe something like that is worth looking into?
Has anyone spent any time testing/shooting the Gorilla Ammo Silverback 85gr .300 Blackout ammo? They make some big claims for what amounts to an untested (as far as I can see) projectile. I contacted...
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but just wanted to to keep all the info on this together...
Is there any appreciable difference in the Federal LE loading on the DP slugs vs the commercial...
I have zero issues sitting, moving, etc. with Smart Carry. I found AIWB comfortable, but I always knew it was there. With the Smart Carry I can actually forget I'm carrying.
I agree - I now work in an NPE and decided that with daily familiarity, a Smart Carry was a better way to go than a tuckable, which can still be seen at times. The draw isn't as nice as I used to...
[/COLOR]Dude, whatever crawled up your ass has clearly died. You should get that checked out.
You realize a holster maker suggested trying a competitors product, right? If he was just trying to pimp gear, I'm sure he'd pimp his own…
Also, I'd say there's plenty of people on here who either...
I don't have any issues unbuttoning for potty breaks when carrying AIWB… I got my technique down and everything, I don't be tickling or nothing.
That's all what I would expect someone subscribing to conventional morality to say. Rigid and unable to understand - par for the course.
Also, most people define ethics and morals thusly:...
The main problem with this is that you're confusing ethics and morals. Ethics being what society has deemed acceptable and right and morals being what the individual has decided is just and right.
...
This is, in my opinion, the actual rub between David and myself. David is very much coming from a conventional morality, which can be summed up thusly:
versus a post conventional wisdom, which...
Where's the damn like button on this forum?
Way to ratchet up the condescension on this post.
Wrong. Carrying in spite of a rule is breaking a rule only. It is not inherently wrong, especially since there is no clear moral authority or...
David, I believe everyone in this thread is at a "agree to disagree" time with you. This is a clear case of malum prohibitum. It is breaking a rule only. A rule that an employer has no moral or...
But that's just it - I'm not being paid to NOT carry. I'm being paid to produce a very specific product. The offer of employment was extended upon my previous work in this field and with the explicit...
David, you keep making it sound like someone is getting paid to NOT carry. In fact, most people are getting paid to actually do something productive, while being asked to not carry is a matter of...
David, this whole thing started because of my original post. Let me say this - there is no way I could work for a company that is truly utilizing my talent and skillset while justly compensating me...
Actually, I'm agreeing to take money in exchange for a job that maybe 1-3% of the population can do at the talent/quality level that I do. What I carry on my person while performing that should be...
