The locking piece and the slot it rides in look like they’d be susceptible to catching crud. Smith and Wesson has moved the gas ring on and off the front of the cylinder trying to keep debris from...
No need to disassemble the cylinder yet. Simple spray some air into the front cylinder lock, and make sure it’s functioning smoothly. That looks like a trap even a couple of rounds could jam up.
...
I’ve shot GP100’s before, but never fiddled with one. It looks like the tiniest bit of crud in the yoke could cause problems with the cylinder releasing:

Way Better than Dylan! I can only find it on an album that costs $17. 😳

I worked mostly from home during that trial, and had it on most of the time.
-Detective took OJ’s shoes home for the weekend, and stored them in his bedroom closet.
-Fuhrman fell for the trap. Who...

I bought a M64 police trade-in a few years ago. A new cylinder was installed, barrel gap was a bit too large for me. S&W told me to send it in, and they tuned it up for free.
My 642 throws sparks when dry firing. I saw a review of the UC on YouTube, and the guy’s trigger gauge was reading 4.5#. Clearly a faulty device.
Sorry for the confusion. I found a 642UC on GunBroker last night, but it was snatched up right after I posted today. There’s no way I’m paying $875+ when I already have two J frames.
I never sell my firearms…lol!
I guess I was surprised that so many people were excited about a new manufactured S&W revolver. The UC does get rid of what Stephanie called the “stoma” ILS, and the improved sights seem nice. My J...
I’ve been following this thread, but after 81 pages, can’t recall what the purpose of the UC revolver is for folks here. Primary, ankle holster, or just riding along in the pants pocket? I usually...
I’d be tickled to get a revolver with a .002” gap! You can always remove material, but can’t add it. I carry a .006” feeler gauge in my wallet, and won’t buy a revolver that has a larger cylinder...
My first carry revolvers were a J frame and Ruger SP101. When I bought a DS, that sixth round seemed magical! After buying 7 and 8 round revolvers, 6 rounds seemed lacking, but I’m happy with the six...
What kind of word salad, feel good, Democrat type of nonsense is this?
At least six other states have passed similar legislation, said the bill’s primary sponsor, Rep. Morgan Cephas,...
I bought a set of stocks that look like Hogue bantam grips, but in wood. They’re sold by Feelsogood on Amazon, and were a surprisingly snug fit on the M19. The finger grooves fit my hands perfectly! ...
Chris Baker at Lucky Gunner did extensive testing with clear gel, and he used a 3.64” barreled pistol (???) for his .45 acp testing:

It looks like the 327 takes the same grips and holsters as the Taurus 856. A Hogue 3 finger rubber grip should fit your needs: ...
I haven’t been able to get away from revolvers for several years. My current carry revolver is my new to me S&W M19-4 2.5”. I also carry a M642 in my jacket, depending on the weather. All revolvers...
I have to take deep breaths, and think that my Miata still needs the paint repaired… 🤷🏼

A few PD’s use my local range for qualifying. I went there about 5 years ago, and a 6’4” Bucks County Park ranger was standing next to a moderately sized woman, and she looked seasoned enough. We...
Garand Thumb asks Paul about his firearms training, and he replies “Went into the Marine Corps, went to Gunsite, was a marksmanship instructor in the Marine Security Forces, and read a few articles...
Nonsensical is a word that has become an anachronism. I had to scroll down the article to see the police chief’s attempt to distance himself from the suggestion, but I wouldn't be surprised if other...
