A benelli m2 is the only thing that jumps to mind. Barrels run 450-500 though, so you'd be looking at ~1400 for the set.
maybe a TA44?
It's going to depend on what your pistol likes, but my go-to is CCI standard; I've never had a 22 that didn't shoot reasonably well with it, and it's widely available for ~30 per brick.
Utah voted for medical marijuana with pretty strict requirements for a prescription. We're a long way way away from recreational use being on the table.
M2 is the only one I have trigger time with (20k ish). They're gtg. I'd trust an m4 as well.
I don't know anything about the 11-87P; I stick to the recoil operated 11s and 11-48s, but I ran into this one while wandering around GB the other day, and it's right at your price point. ...
As long as you stick to mid to heavy bullets and are careful about cleaning, Ti cylinder life shouldn't be a problem.
I liked the cylinder and slide fiber optic front (CS0382F) on the one gun I had one on. Should be an easy replacement in a 629.
At least locally, it's pretty easy to find cosmetically rough Remington 11s and 11-48s in the 3-400 range. You could probably get one cut/crowned and add a bead for ~100.
Without getting kind of...
Has the j frame clip on been redesigned to be a bit longer? I might need to get another one and play with it.
I think fit makes a bigger difference than just 98 vs 99/100 targets. You can certainly do good work with a stock gun that doesn't fit perfectly, but it takes less effort to get more with a gun that...
LG 105s.
ETA: and 2oz can definitely make a difference. Both in recoil and carry. At that point you're talking ~15% of the weight, depending on the model.
I only have 342s, but they're 2 oz lighter, so it's comparable. I wouldn't say that recoil is negligible, not like out of a k frame, but it isn't bad. It doesn't hurt, unlike, e.g., FBI loads. I...
I don't have the funds either. That's why it's still there, next to the officers model match, 3" 31, 3" 36 no dash (iirc), and pile of 340 dollar trade in 64s. Just trying to facilitate other folks...
At risk of this being a joke, there was a police positive special in 32-20 at a local shop as of about a week ago. I don't remember price well enough to quote it, but it wasn't outrageous. Next...
Outside the edit window; sorry. Just checked my logs. I actually bought 1k and ran 500 and change through 9 S&Ws. J, K, and N frames. All the same lot number, all similar issues. It was least...
I picked up 500 rounds of tulammo 130gr 38 special maybe 18 months ago because the price was right. In every gun I've tried it in ejection has been sticky, to put it mildly. I've often needed to...
I'll third this. The standard pressure critical defense hit pretty close to winchester western super match in all my j frames.
speedloader at 11. It's not ideal placement, but I haven't found a pouch that conceals well at 3-4 for me.
Oh, I shoot them too whenever I do bullseye. Models 17, 14, and a target model of 1955. But the folks who care about winning don't shoot them. It's still a good time though.
Just to add my voice to the chorus, it's popular in bullseye out of wadcutter only semi-autos that mirror the manual of arms of the shooter's 22LR pistol, either as a drop in conversion, or a...
I've seen hunting loads from hornady on the shelves locally at ~30/box. Most of the usual suspects online have one or two loads in stock as well.
As of about two years ago that's finally possible. Terminals 4-8 and the international terminal are linked with bridges and tunnels. It's the dotted yellow line in this map. Be glad you aren't...
I don't like the lock either, but if, down the road I see a used one for a good price I'd probably buy it. If it ran for the first thousand rounds or so, I wouldn't be opposed to carrying it. It's a...
