I just realized the 76mm is apparently chamber measurement. Unfortunately I couldn't see a way to edit my post as written above on the 1st post. I suppose I need to be more careful, sorry!

I hear ya, I've been confused a bit at times also. The barrel is stamped 76mm, however using calipers at the end it does read .719-.722. Not quite sure how they go about it, but it would appear it's...
shootist26...Was that the results of a choked barrel or fixed cylinder?
For what it's worth I thought I would share. This is now the second notification I've received indicating the 1301 J131TT18C is back in stock.
This one just came in today,

Being familiar and operating with an abundance of muscle memory certainly makes sense. I didn't think along those lines, obviously! I guess I just got caught up with several reporting how much...
I fully understand doing a shake down making sure things like optic's and barrel clamps stay put, but I've always (well not always) but recently wondered why it seems like several folks leave their...
One of the simplest, and one I use on my own 1301 shotguns, is installation of the Streamlight 870 Mount
After looking at this mount I couldn't help but wonder what you did about the detent pin?...
Nice job Pnut, however I'd be willing to bet you're not done....lol There always seems to be something that pops up that's a must have!
Well I can rest better now. I did as you suggested on March 31st, was a bit concerned as there wasn't any communication until today 4/3/2022. As it was put "your order is complete" so I'm guessing it...
Okay you talked me into it, however if it goes wrong I'm holding you personally responsible...lol
I was watching a Lucky Gunner video on the 1301, an interesting bit of info was when it was mentioned that the conversion to the Mossberg stock reduced the LOP by 5/8 ". Can't help but wonder if one...
Perhaps we read the same thing about the adapter. The one I read was actually a response that GG&G was making on another forum about their adapters. The one thing they had said was the reason the Rem...
I bought the Mossberg GG&G adaptor and SGA stock merely because that's the ones my LGS had in-stock on the shelf...if they'd had the Remington parts instead, I'd have those mounted right now....
I do see what you're referring to, but I would think the reach to the trigger could be adjusted simply by hand positioning? I wondered if there was a LOP advantage of one over the other. Also...
Has anyone had the opportunity to do a side-by-side comparison of these? It would appear that many seemed to have elected to go with the Mossberg, however is that because the Aridus adapter only...
I'm sorry if my question has been answered before but I've spent considerable time looking without any luck.
When it comes to choosing between the Aridus and the GG&G stock adapter there is a recoil...
lol...I don't either
I was going to reply by saying I had also checked it with a magnet which is why I posed the question. I'm just not convinced it's metal though. I have no problem should it be a...
Oops, never mind I see what you're talking about! Could be a better design for sure, but not as bad as I was thinking.
With the barrel marked at .76 I suppose I would have to agree. I was just trying to convey the J131TT18NLE does not have removeable/interchangeable choke tubes.
I'm going to guess your Model is either a J131TT18C or J131TP18C which is choked, whereas it appears that Pnut and I have the also newer 7rd Model but they J131TT18NLE and not choked.
Model J131TT18NLE which is one of the 7+1 models does not. When you say some LE models are you saying that there are some LE's with chokes?
Do you know if that part will work with the newer 7+1 mag tube?
I've been considering going to the GG&G Stock & adapter myself, however this statement gives me concern. A picture or a better description sure would be appreciated,
Trying to get confirmation on the actual material that the Mag tube is made of. Now I'm not referring to the polymer screw on cap but the tube itself. Looks and feels like polymer to me. Not sure if...
