Looks very much the same as my 19-4 (1978). Only difference noticed was possibly one more visible coil in the rebound spring, but could be the angle of the image.

Part of why I use the Hornady Critical Defense +P is that it shoots POA for me at 7-10 yards. Not shooting for cloverleaf groups, but it is easy for me to get fist size groups at that distance if I...
Depending where I'm going and what I'm wearing, typically one of these two. Sig P365X with std. grip module and flush 10 rd magazine with Fed HST 124 gr or S&W 642 PC with Hornady Critical Defense...
Those Altamonts Falconia grips are gone and replaced with S&W standard rubber for 442/642. The plastic "ivory" inserts move around and crack when tightened. Should have made them from G7.
S&W 642 PC or 442 go in a Uncle Mikes #4 for pocket carry with a speed strip vs speed loader.

I've owned several Colt's both 70 and 80 series, a S&W E-series, Dan Wesson A1, two Remington R1s and lastly a Wilson CQB all full size in .45 ACP. With the exception of the Wilson, all experienced...
I have one. Sent you a PM.
Suffolk Co. LI?
I have the same Spyderco Ladybug. That one and a yellow Salt. Great little knife.
I own this 629-6 with 6" barrel and have no practical purpose for it. It's heavy, loud, kicks like a mule but is fun to shoot steel with at the range and look at.
I don't hunt, reload, shoot...
Original post was not a concern, but was looking for information on this particular revolver SKU 163624 and all the "Features" codes on the box label that I was unfamiliar with.
I now have all that...
It was difficult to measure the throat dia. with a small inside calipers. I got anywhere from .4275"-.4290" depending on how I had the calipers placed. I did mic the OD of Winchester .44 Mag SJSP...
Picked up this S&W 629-6 with 6.5" Power Port barrel SKU 163624. This example is 98-99% and fired only a handful of times. I can not find any useful info on this 629 variation anywhere on the net. No...
The M66-8 is a great 4.25" barrel classic K-frame. That said you should try to buy it in person so you can inspect it thoroughly due to some degree of inconsistent quality control on their revolvers....
They made them specifically for TALO and later S&W 3-5-7 series 686+ revolvers. Read any forum posts/reviews by owners of those models (3", 5" and 7" barrels) and most all mention how the stock grips...
I really don't understand why Altamont doesn't fix the "points" on the corners towards the top of the back strap. I have a 686+ 3-5-7 series that came with Altamont's "U Grip" configuration that look...
All below failed on me while shooting. Ammo and magazines were ruled out.
Ruger LCP I (complete jam-o-matic). Colt 1911 (multiple full size gov't versions, extraction, feeding, SS galling, you...
Pac Compac Pros on my M66-8 and 686+ 3-5-7 series. They work great for me and no issue with .357s. Better for me than both the stock sets. Need to figure out what I'm going to use on my 19-4, the...
My experience with 2 canted rear sights on S&W K/L frames is it was the sight adjustment screw. If I slowly turned the screw and watched the sight blade, I could see it go high on one side, down the...
I see some with wear and others without. Would be great to have other pics of members P365 striker blocks (in or out of slide) for comparison. I still do not understand how the wear happens, which is...
Trying to learn exactly how the Sig striker safety block works on the P365 and it's variants. I understand the basic concept but have some questions.
1) When the striker is fully cocked, does the...
