But that grip safety is very different from the originals.
There is a BIG difference between a partial and total eclipse.
Solar eclipses, even total ones, are not rare if you consider the entire earth surface...
Now, unless you can travel a lot...

Nice rifles!
Even though the danish oil makes the grain in the wood pop out and looks great, for a military rifle like this I prefer the subdued matte finish of the linseed oil.
How do you push back the bullet into the case?
If the bullet gets stuck into the forcing cone you'll need a rod to push it back into the case/chamber to open the cylinder.
That hammer and sear are incredible...

The one thing the 308 has is barrier penetration, you can chew up a car or cinder blocks even with a short barrel. That's why the SAS used the G3K with a 12.4" barrel back in the time. But that's a...
What is the intended role of a 13" 308 rifle?
What are the advantages over a 5.56 a with a 16" barrel that is much lighter and has about the same OAL?
How consistent is the diameter of the copper bullets?
Have you measured your bore?
Copper and brass are much less ductile than most lead alloys, and even small variations can have a much larger...
Thanks for all this info gentlemen...
IMO it goes into the "competition gun" category.
Can this bullet be replicated with a casting mold?
Which one? Does it has some special geometry in the HP cavity, thickness of the nose walls, or anything more or less similar will do?
What alloy...
Wow! hard cast FP 147 gr @ 1120 fps out of a 4" test barrel
