Thanks for the info, you confirmed that I need to stick with what I have. Maybe I’ll save up for one and start practicing with it
@ Tlong
I currently carry a Gen 5 19 MOS with 507C V2, is the LTT Compact RDS worth the extra $ to switch?
Thanks
Steve
I replace my RSA, firing pin spring and trigger spring in my 9mm gen 4s at 5k rds and all other springs at 7.5k. What is the recommended schedule for gen 5s?
Thanks for the info, I think I'm going to trade my DDP pros towards Holosuns, maybe try the 509T (love the 507Cv2 on my 19's)
thanks
Steve
Does anyone know the height of the rear optic deck for a SRO mounted on a MOS using a C&H precision plate. I am thinking of swapping my older Leupold DPP on my Gen 5 17 MOS with a SRO for...
I am going to look around the pawn shops here for a spare barrel, then i will send it to Vang-Comp to cut down, have the super secret sauce done to it and rifle sights installed.
Tim,
Thanks for the info, by the way it was great shooting with you in WVa, I was the other "dot" shooter/1st time using AIWB in a class, your tips were extremely helpful. So would I be better...
RFI,
I am looking for a Remington 12ga, 870 barrel, preferably 18 in fixed cylinder with rifle sights. I have put my name on the "inform when available list at Midwest Gun works". However like...
Just traded into my 2nd G19 MOS with Holosun 507C V2, using a CHW Precision plate, V4
This was my first time using a MRDS for more than "range fun". I utilized my Holosun 507C V2, on a G-19 with a CHPW plate during a LTT Advanced class Mid Sept in WV. Had no issues with the optic, I...
Pistol/optic and plate are holding well, no issues with movement (Witness marks haven't moved), no loss/shifting of zero. Scores on drill going up. (Vickers the test, Dot torture, Dave spaulding...
@ GJM,
What finish did you go with for your slide refinish from Primary Machine, I'm going to send a slide in to get milled for a Holosun.
Thanks
Steve
Thank you to all for the information about this pistol.
I inherited this pistol from family, I got it as you see it, one magazine and cartridges (.32 auto) wrapped in a paper towel. I have no history reference this pistol, nor can the family provide me...
Picked up a Gen 4 G26 in the last cpl of months, great shooting piece.
Finally able to convert all my guns to Fiber optic front and plain black rear. All have Dawsons minus except for my Glock 26 gen 4 which shoots like a laser with the sevigney fiber sights.
General question, for those who shoot IDPA, what type of sights do you use?
Dawson Chargers-Black rear, Fiber front here.
what struck me as odd, is that the gun felt better in my hand without any backstraps, however during drills then gun shot better with the modified Medium backstrap with beaver tail
Looking for some advice,
I have been shooting glocks for years, ever since the Gen4 has come out I have been using them with out any of the backstraps attached. I picked up a gen 5 MOS 19,...
GJM,
The + and - are definately larger, I compared a V2 to a V1 and the V2 buttons were larger and easier to manipulate. I am liking the V2, shot on Saturday with a buddy who had a Glock milled...
Looking forward to using the 507C v2. This will be my first true foray into RDS. I will use this exclusively for my training/competition pistol. I have used my Gen5 17s with Leupold DPP in IDPA. ...
Noisefighters,
Any updates on your 508T, I have a 507C V2, that I am trying out?
This weekend I will run more drill with the modified medium backstrap in place to see if it will become permanent. So far i like the Holosun, no issues yet with it. I like the side battery...
