If there was a a "like" button, i would push it. I own quite a few of the "high speed" rifles and handgus, but nothing turns me on as much as wood and used blueing (no homo?).

Nope. They do not.
Those are plenty beautiful in their own right. I'm currently eyeballing a Spencer carbine, a British Royal Navy Flintlock from 1775, if I can convince the other parties involved, a 1779 brass barreled Dutch Blunderbus. Gonna be an expensive year.
Very cool, hope you can post some pictures if the deals come through.
I'm pretty short on the high speed stuff at the moment, they have been off and on interests, the older stuff has been a lifelong interest, as well as being practical tools for my particular neighborhood.
I have a feeling that some folks here will appreciate this from my father's mantle.

That 86 has a lot of character.

To finish the build I'm looking to get a KAC MAMS, Noveske Barrel, Geissele MK4 Rail and replace the trigger with a Geissele SD3G. Throw on some iron sights, a T1 and a VCAS sling and it should be good to go.
My backyard is literally the Black Hills. My dogs even like to do their business in the national forest. Anyway, I have a mountain lion tag and today was the first day I went out to try and fill it. I found this clearing about 3 miles from my house that had several old tracks. I decided to take a stop and take a pic of my gear: Ruger American Rifle in .30-06 (topped with a Weaver Grand Slam 2-8x36 scope), Ruger LCR in .38 Special +P, HK45, Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon with various sundries for my hike/hunt.
No luck on the cat yet. Let's see if I can bag one before I deploy.
