My (grown) son and I saw the movie today as well. While my wife, daughter-in-law and the three small grandkids went to Costco.
Movie was great (I was transitioning from HS to college about then). We both enjoyed it. Maybe not the cool factor of Steve McQueen in the 1973 version (and not intending to add Porsche to the Ford v Ferrari debate), but a really good movie.
We heard Costco was crowded (imagine that, on a Saturday afternoon).

Saw it this afternoon, good movie.

There was a short movie called "Rendezvous" and the same production company made "The Snake and the Stallion". I think it was later called "The cobra-ferrari wars". That was a good film too

This movie was simply amazing. Go see it while in theaters. Excellent direction, writing, acting and effects.
Probably the best racing movie ever made, but it is much more than a racing movie.

I just picked up Go Like Hell for $2.99 on Kindle. Limited time offer. No idea if the book is good, but the author was one of the commentators in The 24 Hour War.

Excellent movie, wish I had the time to see it in the theatre but at least I own it.

Three times through for me. Loved it each time.

My wife doesn't like movies, and she liked this one. I'll be watching it again soon.
