A thing I like.
My lifelong best friend, since we were 3 and 4 years old respectively, gave this to me for Christmas a few years back. His family owns the gun shop I used to work for. He got sequential SN guns for he and I. His grandfather was our scoutmaster. We lived a lot of life and lessons in those years and even ended up having a joint Eagle Scout Ceremony; just worked out that way due to the closeness of our families.
I'm sad that the organization that made me a lot of who I am no longer exists. I do my best to get my kids out and teach them the skills as well as modeling the principles and behaviour. I am sad that they will never get to experience what I did through scouting, though.

I admit the rimfire bug is starting to bug me. Broke out Dad's Single Six. 1976 and I don't think it had 100 rounds through it. Shooting it is meditative.
