P320 X5 barrel in compact slide

Hello everyone! New here.

I was curious as to if any has tried something, this something would be getting a P320 X5/X5 Legion bull barrel into a compact slide. This would be a build that would be mostly for fun, and I'd do more with it myself BUT I don't have a P320 compact slide to check out and see all what would need to be modified. The hope would be the hole in the front of the barrel is all that would need to be milled out, I do fear that it may be more labor intensive then this (I'd be hiring a gunsmith, fret not).

I have poked around for a bit in hopes of finding info on the topic, but could not find pictures where anyone had done it, I apologize in advance if this has been discussed in length and I missed it and I thank you all for any info that may be offered!
