Actually, it is interesting. I have little need for slugs in my HD gun, but I keep a couple boxes of the Federal Deep Penetrator TruBall in case I need to...well...penetrate something deeply.

I've never recovered a soft lead foster slug that's retained more than 75% of it's weight after penatrating a deer shoulder bone. I was shocked that the dptb retained so much.

Not me but a much better test
For once the label on the box is meaningful. The TBDPs are, by all reports I've heard, phenomenal at penetrating cars and big critters.
