Folks - I haven't seen it reported in this thread - but WHO is now apparently advising folks to not take ibuprofen or other blood-thinner-type anti-inflammatories if you come down with covid-19. Instead, they advise strictly Tylenol.

Apparently the thought is the anti-inflammatories can boost free ACE2. Similarly hypertension medications and diabetes medications can apparently do the same. It may be that an increase in ACE2 allows the virus to be more virulent since this is what covid-19 binds to.
However, I'll note that this quick thought from Derek Lowe from the Science Translational Medicine blog points out where the Lancet article may wrong:

Also, notably, he suggests that it may be paradoxical that
more ACE2 may help. I have no idea if such therapy would work, but you know - I guess everyone is flying by the seat of their pants here.
