Pretty similar times, a bit faster but the 11th run f'd me. pulled the pair low. struggled today with prepping the trigger and yanked through the takeup on a few of the mikes. My skills are slowly deteriorating with lack of dry practice, or so it feels.
I also ran the same concept at 25 yards on 8" steel, stealing the idea from @scjbash. It was fun and I think they both have merit as something to run back to back.
Times for the 8" were - 47.32
1. 3.36 - 2 hits
2. 3.18 - 1 hit
3. 3.44 - 1 hit
4. 3.59 - 2 hits

I found consistency in the end but unfortunately it was too late, and required 3 extra runs - over 10 seconds of extra shooting....I could have taken an extra .5 per shot and gotten the same time...except I would never need that much extra time. Sometimes it was a less than perfect sight picture, sometimes a yank instead of a press on the trigger, sometimes both. What I like about steel at 25 is I don't have the perpetual urge to eye sprint. It's a constant battle.

Noticed the faster runs didn’t feel much different than the slower ones...I was just seeing what I needed to sooner. Think I may run this more regularly but in a shorter format maybe.

Nearly all of my mikes at 25 were pulled SA shots. Also my 25 yard time was only 2 seconds slower than my m&p time but I had 3 extra runs. If i could have pulled my head out of my ass then I would've crushed the other if if's and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry christmas. I really like the p09. I ran a 2 shot sweet sixteen (32 shots total) after this to work on the SA to a hard target. Made it to 15 yards with both hits for final score. The sa on this is odd, in that there isn't a defined wall but a roll, which sounds great but I still seem to snatch the shit out of it for some reason or other.

Noticed a LOT. I have been not been shooting index cards or small targets in a bit. I was throwing every first DA shot by an inch or so for most the runs, I easily hit 2nd shot every time except maybe 1. After 10 runs, I ran a few dry runs and noticed myself prepping the DA trigger on the way out and hoping to land on index card and was finishing the press either way. I switched to putting the dot on the card then running the trigger - immediately had 2 hits every run after except 2. Times pretty much stayed the same. Will be working D2 to index cards into my regular live fire - been needing to fine tune my DA press in live fire anyways.

I noticed that I really need to work on my press-outs. I often missed the first shot, whereas usually on something like a FAST test I get the initial hit, then rush the second one and miss.
I also noticed that I started going faster as the drill went on, but missing more. It was the end of a long, hot session and we were both about done.
And I noticed that my buddy took his time and beat me (21 shots, 54.39 total, average 4.95 per string). :(
Scoring question: Going into the last string, I only needed one hit. I fired two but the first shot was a hit, so I didn’t count the time for the second shot - not sure if that was correct.

I should probably shoot this one again soon. When I did it the first time I just shot Gabe's "Immediate Incapacitation" drill 10 separate times at "on-demand" speed.
It's a mind game.

I am still working on quickly acquiring a solid grip on revolvers at speed, both initial grip in the holster and support hand placement. Revolvers mostly point a bit high for me so I had to drop the dot down into the window. Couple that with a poor index and my owb times with a dot gun were equal to my semi auto times from aiwb concealed. But the gun is a hoot to shoot and i look forward to getting an apex kit on this thing down the road! Stupid easy to shoot, and both misses were called instantly with feedback from the dot.

I started this drill with a goal of shooting it clean. I was a bit conservative and didn't push very hard but rather let the process happen as was needed. String 3 obviously blew that plan to hell but I maintained and didn't let it get in my head and had a strong finish. The time ended up being similar to the previous runs with this gun where I pushed harder but had more misses. I think the answer is the same as always - do the same thing but faster with less misses and suck less.
