Bear in mind, Amtrak has their own police force...
On the other hand it is a rule, not a law. The worst they can do is make you get off the train.

That's not how federal law works. Many federal regulations carry criminal penalties. Also, the portion of a rail station operated by Amtrak may be a "federal facility," so the prohibition on possession of firearms in federal facilities may apply (18 U.S.C. § 930).Quote:
