You all helped with pant option. What do you think about undershirts? I struggle with undershirts cumming untucked and bunching up untucking. Is there anything out there more like a compression shirt that is long? I’m 6’5”... thx...

I recommend shirt stays.
If you need it today your local Men's Warehouse should have it:

Not sock dependent:

I like these...work great under t-shirts etc. You'll have to check length, but mine don't ride up.

I live in the KCMO area and wear an undershirt of some sort almost all of the time. I am 6'3'' at 202 right now so I am somewhat sensitive to shirts riding up.
With a collared dress shirts and a tie, I like the all cotton offerings from Costco -their Kirkland brand. For collared shirts with no tie, I go between cotton v-neck t- shirts and random colored logo t shirts depending on the color of the collared shirt
With a logoed t shirt etc, I have used cotton /poly tank tops C9 brand from Target with much success. I rarely go with just a t-shirt and no undershirt.
With all, no abrasion to the skin and some sweat absorption which is key for dress shirt preservation in the summer here where we can have 80/80+ days (80 temp and or 80% humidity, May -Sept.)
I personally do not like the feel of the compression shirt. They are all poly and really hold stink unless you wash them in oxy clean. Having said that, them definitely provide abrasion protection and smooth everything out a bit to include love handles etc.
While I am sure that Under Armor is a fine brand, I have found that in all manner of poly based wicking/compression offerings, Target, WalMart, Amazon. etc sell store brands that provide 70-100% of the performance at 30-50% of the price all day long.
I know more than one pistolero that tucks their compression shirt into their underwear as opposed to over their underwear to keep everything "all tucked in." if the cover garment rides up a bit, you can be in the position of telling the word you wear Calvin Klein, Marty.
Tell us what you end up doing in the end.
YMMV greatly
Edited to add: if you in fact have an extra long torso finding something that fits would be paramount and I would note that UA does sell Tall offerings. Thx Blues for the update on those.
Well, in defense of the UA, I bought six of 'em for under $15 each when I purchased...and the sleeveless versions don't hold stink. And being sleeveless, are not encumbered by the type of shirt they ride under.
YMMV, but they should not be thrown under the bus imho.
ETA: I don't wear dress clothing on any sort of regular basis...so take that into consideration, since I don't have to worry about it showing under a white shirt.
Fruit of the Loom Men's Stay Tucked V-Neck T-Shirt. They come in XLT. I'm 6'6" and have no problem with them coming untucked.
Mr Davis
You get what you pay for.
When wearing a suit or dress clothes I do the same thing. Wearing cargo pants and using a rigger's belt or similar, I have found that I don't need to tuck it in my chonies.
Undershirt of choice is Hanes cotton, one size smaller I would normally wear. After they go through the dryer, they fight tight but are cool in hot weather.
I am most comfortable using a loose-ish triblend t shirt as my undershirt with casual concealment shirts; they also do a decent job of concealing by themselves if it's frigging hot.
I wear a medium undershirt with dress shirts (typically Duluth Trading) but a large triblend.
Most of mine are printed (I make my own on sites like CustomInk, for example), but here's a US-made source:

With a lot of holsters having loop Velcro on the back these days, a piece of iron-on Velcro (or stitched-on if you’ve got the ability) on the hem of your shirt can lock it to your holster. This is especially handy for training classes and practice sessions that involve lots of draws.
Key is getting a long enough shirt. I used to wear medium undershirts but switched to large to get sleeves that don’t bunch up in my pits, and the extra length doesn’t hurt as far as staying tucked. I prefer fruit of the loom based on experience so far. I wear a-shirts/wifebeaters under polos or t-shirts when those are my cover garment.
I personally can’t carry without one. I just got the COVID vaccine and just for a quick and easy concealment solution, I tucked my undershirt in over my gun so it was hidden “good enough” when I had to unbutton my button up to get the shot. It was miserable for the short time it took to get in and out. No, the VCD grips didn’t help. But I just hate the feeling of whatever material the gun is made of sticking to my skin. It’s only worse in hot weather.
ETA: the yoga block wedge on my holster does help keep the shirt tucked. In fact, untucking it without removing the holster is difficult.
I like the ribbed cotton tank tops as an undershirt when it’s a bit cold out. But they’re too hot for me during Texas summers. I just got these rayon undershirts:

It’s not hot enough yet here in Texas to see how well they’ll do, but I hope they’ll work out for me.

I've worn these Coolmax t-shirts in tan under my armor and tan uniforms. Kept using them when I moved to CID and dress shirts. Feel like cotton but has some kind of moisture wicking properties and no funk. Works well so far.
I have a couple of those Coolmax tank tops and like them. I also have these bamboo rayon shirts that work really well, too:

I've been wearing some variation of the Under Armour Tech Tee since 2003/4. Tried lots of other stuff, but these have a great balance of slickness, not smelling, durability, and they stay put relatively well.

Believe it or not the Wally-World branded athletic undershirts [I believe they are called George] are cut kinda long and stay tucked.
Started wearing them daily whilst toting the M&P 2.0, due to the grip texture. They work for me, keeping the Tenicor and grip/body of the 1911 fairly sweat free, and me, rash free.
I'm 6'4" and had the same problem until I discovered Duluth Trading Company undershirts. They are pricey, but worth it. They have longer than normal tails, but shorter sleeves so they don't poke out from under the sleeves of short sleeved shirts. They have ones similar to under armour material (Armachillo), a waffle/breathable (Buck naked), and a cotton (free range). I have all three types depending on what I'm doing and the weather and have been very satisfied with all of them.
For daily wear, I do the Duluth Buck Naked tanks (https://www.duluthtrading.com/mens-b...ar-undershirts). They’ve held up great after several years of wear. I sized down to get a next-to-skin (though not compression) fit, and they are still plenty long enough to stay tucked in well. That said, the waffle weave doesn’t do great with repeated drawing from concealment, especially not with a more aggressive stipple job. For range days I switch to sleeveless UA HeatGear shirts (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GLN9BRP...6RWGAJWXVVRGH9). They do tend to pill a bit from repeated drawing, but I have four on rotation and I’ve yet to put a hole through any of them. And yeah, tuck ‘em into your underwear. It helps.
Bumping this to see if the op or anyone else tried any of these and if so what you think.
I’ve been wearing Hanes “wife beaters” 95% of the time, and v-necks the other 5%, for the last 30+ years and I’m getting annoyed with the wife-beaters for daily wear now that I’m dressing a little nicer (dress pants and shirts M-Th).
I’m thinking I want a v neck, short-sleeve, solution that’s relatively tight to the body but/and also suitable for Florida heat, that stays tucked under the dress shirts but also for 4 o’clock IWB carry.
Leaning towards UA simply because I’ve had such good history with their underwear. Also need to buy something like 10-15 of these things eventually so not trying to buy $30/ea undershirts…

While mid Mo is not Fla re heat and humidity, it is a consideration, May-Sept here.
I think any Hanes/Fruit of the Loom/Big box brand Cotton/Poly blend shirt is going to be adequate for your stated use. I fully concur that a tank top/"wife beater is unsat day in day out as the lack of fabric makes for sweated out, stinkier pits v a full t-shirt. Oxy Clean is your friend when washing any poly underwear to knock out foul smells.
I tend to buy these things 6-8 at a time, wear them for a year max, knowing they are simply a consumable. The old ones get re purposed as rags, cleaning cloths, shoe shine stuff or are simply given away to Goodwill etc. They typically price out at 5ish per shirt max when purchased in a multi-pack. My t-shirt of choice has been the Costco/Kirkland brand of late but they do not sell a cotton/poly blend in store in my market.

YMMV
I like the Gildan CoolBlend 50:50 poly:cotton. A little longer than many and not expensive.
Only drawback is that they do not offer a long sleeve with pocket for wear as a shirt.
Got some of these in a large. I’m 6’ and about 190. Right out of the package, they are too loose by a mile but I’ll wash them and see.
They are super long. That may also shrink up, and that would be a good thing, since they may be so long right now as to bunch up in the crotch.
Will see what they fit like after a washing, and maybe I’ll just have to get a medium to try if they are still too large post-washing.
Rob-s
If those are 100% cotton, washed in hot water and dried hot, they may shrink up a enough. If there are mostly synthetic, I would doubt it.
The impatient person in me would order the mediums straight away.
I am 6' 2-3", 205ish and have historically sized down from an XL to an L in this application. I wear a 44 L jacket.
I should have posted up my specs and sizing thoughts. I apologize, Sir.

I’d suggest looking into Mr Davis undershirts
https://mrdavis.com/best-undershirt
@Duke recommended them here a couple of years ago, and now it’s the only thing I’d consider wearing under my uniform shirts for work, summer or winter. Good fit (with an “athletic fit” option that works for me). Fitted and cool enough in the summer. I ordered a M athletic fit, and hadn’t worn anything smaller than a L since middle school.
Consider garments from here: https://www.foundersport.com/brand/badger/
This is the company where Uncle Pat of EAG got his microfiber swag T-shirts.
I wear smaller sizes for undershirts; short sleeve and long, these have utterly replaced the UA and Dri-Duke shirts I used to wear.
They have all microfiber, and cotton/poly blends, all manner of colors, all manner of fits, etc., and they are sold every day for the prices UA and similar get REDUCED to when on sale.
I think they run a little big. I'm 5'9" and 190#. A medium is just the right amount of snug to me (without being compression-fit) for against-the-skin wear, and while I think that they're also longer in the body than a typical US-sized T, I'm also one of those folks who just tucks my undershirt in my drawers
