Oh, you and I have more and more in common. But mine is an Irish woman (“born and bred”). Think Maureen O’Hara in The Quiet Man.
And there’s a cast iron frying pan “seasoning” in the oven.... I think she just likes to keep it handy.

What's more dangerous is that we have Sicilian and Irish mix lasses in the family...danger abounds!

Nope, that's what I want. 😍

And that was the "right thing."
My wife may not have an encyclopedic knowledge of weaponry, but she has very specific tastes, if she cares.
Like pistols should be "semi-automatic and black."
When I mentioned lack of soul in pistols, Glock was the first thing she thought of.
Yes, there may be some osmosis as well in our household.
And she has her new Beretta 81BB whispering in her head of dreams of Italian beauty.
I have one of these. A disappointment in every way.
This would be better. Depending on price range, an original would be better still.Quote:

Poignard. That was what I linked to, I didnt use the term, I didnt think most would recognize it. 14 1/2" blade. It has somewhat of a presence.

For it to be a purchase in the next year, say under $200.
I would have said about $300 for a more long-term purchase, but some posts here have made me think about upping that a bit.
Unfortunately, I am also reminded I promised myself a real fighting knife to go with all my handguns long ago. My favorite knife is my Wustof cleaver. Most of our knives are shit.
