Tis' the season.
Try not to judge the tree. We found out instantly that our 20 month old son reigns chaos on Christmas trees (like everything else). We opted for a mostly sterile approach after our first "incident". So, no tree skirt, no ornaments within reach, and nothing so interesting that he'll grab and pull it over (again).
