Tour de Force 9/11 Memorial Bike Ride
This coming September I will be riding in the 2020 Tour de Force 9/11 Memorial Bike Ride. This years ride will commence at Fenway Park in Boston and over four days will end at Ground Zero in Manhattan.
For those of us who don't know what the Tour de Force is, it's a cycling event to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice...
"The Tour de Force's dual mission is to honor the victims of 9/11 by keeping their memory alive through cycling events and to raise funds to benefit the families of law enforcement officers nationwide who were killed in the line of duty, making the ultimate sacrifice." More here: http://www.tourdeforceny.com
I have set up a fundraising page here: https://grouprev.com/2020_TDF-james-demarco It honestly takes less than a minute to make a donation!
My hope is that member here at P-F, who have always stepped up for great causes, will continue this record of generosity and support my ride to honor those who have given all. Remember, no donation is too big or too small- your donation is guaranteed to go to a wonderful cause.
Thank you to all my brothers and sisters here, sworn/unsworn/civilian/military and all in between. With your help, I know we can make this years Tour de Force the most successful ever.

Tout de Force 9/11 Memorial Bike Ride
Hello to all- I thought I’d post an update on the 2020 installment of the TDF: since Covid-19 threw everyone and everything a curveball this year, the traditional tour was canceled. As a result, numerous smaller regional Rides were planned. I’m proud to say that I was part of the Eastern Long Island group and on 9/12 we set off for a 104 mile bike ride on the Eastend of the Island. We made our way to Montauk Point and back, all why raising funds for an extremely worthwhile cause.
I’d like to thank @LittleLebowski and P/F for a generous donation and if any members are on the fence about making a donation, no matter how small or big, please do so, as the donation window closes soon.
Thanks in advance and fingers crossed for a 2021 TDF!
