BDF Drill
A random drill I ran today that fits into a target setup that I use frequently, the defoor pistol test #1. Setup a uspsa metric with a b8 repair center as you were going to run the defoor test, bottom of b8 lined up with bottom of c zone - leaving a 6x6 lower A zone). At 7 yards draw and fire 3 rounds to the b8 paper(scoring rings as your target), 2 rounds to the 6x6 lower A, then 1 round to the upper A credit card for a total of 6 rounds.
It's a take on a changing gears drill combining aspects of a bill drill and failure drill. BDF is short for my initial cheeky name Bill's Diminishing Failure or it could be Bill Defoor Failure as a way to remember the setup and drill.
Scored however best benefits you - pass/fail, tracking time with penalties, hit factor etc....

First run was fantastic, 2.88 clean. It went downhill from there with either mikes or slower times on the subsequent runs.

Fell apart on the 2.97 run so tightened up for a clean run at a "guaranteed" pace with a 3.53 after. Fun challenging drill if you need to mix up your range session.
