This may sound counter intuitive, but how tight can you keep 10 shots at 7yds? On-demand, 95% of the time; not best ever. If it's not inside an inch, keep working trigger. If it is, you may be dealing with a vision thing.

Yes. The black is 5.5". 5.5" at 10 is nowhere close to 5.5" at 25. For reference, I regularly shoot B8's in the 95-97 range with several 99's in the past couple weeks. In order to accomplish this, my 10yd groups are in the 2.5-3 inch range and my 7yd groups are inside an inch:

Wait... I can cloverleaf at 5 yards all day long with a 1911, but I honestly don't know if I can do that well with an OEM Glock. Is that possible?
For the record, this was at 10 yards, indoors and was 15 (or 17) shots: https://imgur.com/gm07Zyt
B8 why do you treat me so...

Had a spell of good luck today. 5 shots at 25 with the VP9. Not the best score, but I'm pleased as punch with the group.

Re-installed adjustable Dawson Tritiums on my G45. Zeroed at 7yds and then pushed out to 25 for these. In my post-range dryfire review, I think inconsistent grip pressure (trying to grip too hard and not being 100% consistent across the string) was the culprit today.
In order as shot:

I realize this isn't 25 yards. It's somewhere inbetween 35 and 40 yards, actually.

The 92 Compact is pretty easy to shoot at intermediate ranges like this. I really wish I had some steel of my own so I can stretch it to 100. All DA from the holster.
