Course hours: Course begins at 8:00 AM sharp and ends approximately 4:30 PM each day. All attendees will meet in the main classroom at The Site on the first day of training.

Course description: Through discussion and practical range exercises students will gain the ability to properly and effectively utilize a red dot equipped pistol in a defensive context.

Subjects covered: Topics covered include; zeroing pistol optic, draw and presentation, moving and shooting, RDS optic mitigation issues and dot “tracking”. Discussion and application of skills will include optic selection, maintenance, installation, secondary sighting considerations and implementation.

Discussion will be had on use of force and how RDS pistols can enhance user awareness, which will be demonstrated through various drills. Students will walk away with an enhanced level of proficiency using a red dot equipped pistol.
