SD9VE holster compatibility - M&P 9L

Been trying to figure out a good duty style holster for my SD9VE. One of the guys at work has a Safariland 6378 for his M&P Compact 2.0 and I asked him if I could compare some stuff. The SD9 fit down in the holster and locked into place, but it wasn’t a great fit. The serrations on the forward half of the slide are what caused the problem since an M&P has a different profile. And the 6378 has a suede type lining, which is where the serrations were getting hung up. But the fact that the trigger guard profile was the same and the ejection port being in the same spot, which allows the ALS to work, was encouraging. So I decided to try a 7TS style holster. I found a 9L version on grabagun and ordered it the other day. It works great. ALS works and the pistol fits nicely. I added an ALS Guard and a QLS Kit and boom. Level 2 holster.
