Wonderful man, and of course, a great gunsmith. Glad you got to meet him.
I was actually born in Parkersburg. My grandparents lived out in Mineral Wells and when I was 13 or 14, I remember shooting my grandfather's 1911 he'd had "worked on by a guy in town." He died when I was 19. And by the time I understood what it probably was, the gun had disappeared under my grandmother's watch.

Wayne’s sights are famous, of course, but he and his shop have building nice 1911’s for a long time. I am sure it was great to meet and talk to him.
