That won a thousand internets right there, by the way. Spend them wisely. :D

1. Hopefully all of this info is being kept track of in case Balwin intends to run for public office. But I fear it is as TCVA stated that the standards are different for liberals.
2. I'm missing where this is a crime. From: http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment...#ixzz2LPb7VuAI: "The division of the NYPD investigating Baldwin focuses on bias-related crimes. An act is considered a hate crime when the victim is targeted because of his or her race, religion, age, national origin, ethnicity, gender, disability, or sexual orientation, the New York's hate crime law notes."
Is calling someone a name a crime worthy of police investigation--like the police have unlimited resources?
According to the definition, I don't see how Baldwin "targetted" anyone. The reporter and the photographer approached him and initiated contact. It would be different if Baldwin donned a white hood and punched out a black person.
Isn't that a lil like North Korea?
Pyongyang Style!

Greetings from the year 2018!
Given the current hand wringing about "hate speech" and faux calls for "civility", this call to action by Alec Baldwin from 20 years ago seems relevant today.

Alec Baldwin is still a darling of the NBC-NPR-NYC Industrial Complex Cocktail Party Circuit.
^^^ You can't touch him. He's protected by theSymbioneseSNL.
Well, yeah, but only in Britain.

^^^Your post hurt my feelings. I'm turning you in.
ETA: Not only in Britain. I was the subject of an IA investigation for (private) banter between myself and another agent, (Muslim, born in Lebanon), over whether I could use him as an undercover agent in a case involving possible domestic Islamist terrorism in South FL.
A female analyst in the group who was not a party to our antics, but eavesdropped anyway, decided that I was a racist and reported me to IA.
When I got my letter of clearance I posted it on the bulletin board as proof that I was the only certified non-racist in our SAC office.
(Of course I told the investigator that her motivation was that she wanted to get in my pants but I rejected her. ;))
