Thank you. In the early '90s our admin lieutenant's father was a FFL and ordered 3 or 4 CS-1s for patrol deputies and reserves. This one was put back until two years ago when he sold it to me. A month later he offered me a 3" M66 but I turned it down. Not my wisest move but I figured if I ever got the urge to carry a revolver my 3" M65 was a better choice.
Did someone mention 3" 686 CS1's?

Always liked the 3''s full length ejector rod stroke vs 2 1/2'' S&W 19 or 66.
I remember when those CS1s were going for cheap in ads in Shotgun News.
Unfortunately, I also remember being too broke to buy one at the time.
