Damn I somehow forgot True Grit and The Searchers [emoji35] So you can basically ignore my suggestions except for The Shootist.

This last week I have been binge watching Justified. I never watched any of the series before. I am halfway into the third season and it has kept my attention so far.
The Longest Day is another movie with John Wayne that’s worth a watch. Donovan’s reef I wasn’t terrible for a buddy movie/ comedy to have playing in the background as you do something else.
There’s so many good ones it’s hard to nail down a “must see” list. Heck, even the I Love Lucy episode he was on is worth watching IMO.
I would add Sands of Iwo Jima, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon and Three Godfathers. Probably the worst John Wayne movie had to be the one where he played Genghis Khan. I saw something where that movie was filmed down wind of nuclear testing and almost everyone who was in the scenes where the riders were kicking up dust died of cancer. Quick search found this...
John Wayne, Susan Hayward, and 90 other people developed cancer after filming “The Conqueror” near a nuclear testing site
Letterkenny season 7 is out.
Also forgot about Rooster Cogburn, the sequel to True Grit, with Katherine Hepburn.

I made it through season 1, bailed 2-3 eps into season two. The weird shit turned me off, but the dumb shit even more so. Parts (especially the stuff on munitions in season one) reminded me of the reoccurring bit on "The Michell and Webb Look" about the scriptwriters who can't be bothered to research a thing. Good acting, though.
