That holster of mine is at least a year old (if not more), FYI. The design has been refined somewhat, especially the loop.

He is pretty modest. I would expect Dark Star Gear to make any listed of quality holster companies. Even though I have never used a DSG holster, they have been named by many to be among the best. I would think of them as being in stride with JMCK, CCC, and Keepers. I have only used JMs thus far, but would trust any of those companies to produce a holster I could use.

I'm pretty convinced that the V development holster and the dark star gear holster are identical twins separated at birth.

In my experience, how you set ride height significantly influences comfort with a long slide pistol like the 34. The lower you set ride height, the better it conceals. Higher ride height makes for a faster draw, and effectively makes the barrel shorter, possibly increasing comfort.
It is, with a few things changed.
Before I found that out, I was like "Tom someone stole your holsters".
On that same holster, I have to have the clip at the lowest position (highest ride) not to interfere with my junk. Doesn't effect concealment at all though, so that's cool.
I have a G34 CCC Shaggy, love it.
