The ShivWorks Extreme Close Quarter Concepts (ECQC) course is a two-and-a-half-day (20-hour) block of instruction that offers a multi-disciplinary approach to building functional, combative handgun skills at zero to five feet. The course is designed to instill core concepts of seamless integration and provide the platform for aggressive problem solving during a life or death struggle at arm’s length or closer. We emphasize the common body mechanics that apply across different skill sets. That way, all combative software is reinforcing. Once students’ skill sets are ingrained, they will be stress inoculated with force-on-force drills using marking cartridges and protective equipment. please review our refund policy before signing up for any class.

ShivWorks courses are an investment – not only for the students, but also for the hosts and the trainers. Each class requires months of administrative and logistical planning. Courses often sell out early, and unexpected cancellations can be very problematic. Therefore, we have a very strict refund policy that applies to all classes. Please be sure you understand the policy before enrolling in a class. If you have enrolled in a class and later find that you cannot make it, please contact us immediately.

More than 30 Days Before Class
If a student cancels more than 30 days before a class, that student’s tuition will be refunded in full.

30 Days Before Class
If a student cancels anywhere between eight and thirty days before class, that student’s tuition is not refundable. However, the tuition can be applied to another ShivWorks class. This tuition credit must be used within 18 months of the date of the original class, or it is forfeited.

One Week Before Class
If a student cancels seven days (or less) before a class, that student’s tuition in forfeited and cannot be applied to any other class.

ShivWorks Cancellations
If Craig Douglas has to cancel a class for any reason, all students enrolled in that class will receive full refunds.
