Yeah, I was more or less looking for opinions on people actually using holsters. I may be ordering an IWB from Sparks soon.
BTW: I tried my EDC X9 in my TT Gunleather commander holster. The boning for the safety actually would swipe the X9 safety off, so beware of that using traditional 1911 holsters. My OWB holster doesn't have a sweat shield, so safety to leather fit is not an issue.
KSG Armory Sidekick 4" 1911 Kydex AIWB fits and works well. Nicely made holsters.

I recently purchased a non-railed EDC X9 (more to come), but I've found that it largely fits any 4 inch 1911 holster, including the one kydex I have which is a comp-tac, although I largely use milt sparks (works fine in VM2, Axiom, Criterion).
You guys running the X9, any hiccups transitioning from a standard 1911 to this?
