Love this little thing. Worst part was having the paperwork done for about three weeks before I had time and access to a drill press to take the fake can off. Shoots great, no malfunctions after the fake can came off and 2160 rounds thru it since.
My adult noisemaker...
Colt 6920MP
Magpul MOE everything, except the handguard, which is a Troy Delta rail
Magpul AFG2

I was pretty impressed with the 74SU's a few years back while working with some former Soviet republic commando's. Terminal ballistics are also pretty impressive when you look at the round, barrel length, etc. They do damage far beyond their stature.
And you bet that is a long gun. Anything longer than a pistol is a long gun in my book. If I didn't have enough SBR's, a 74SU imitation would be high on my list. Nice looking carbine.
I have a few additions, but lost the pics due to a smashed laptop...........maybe in a couple of weeks I'll throw an update on.
Yeah, it's a fun gun and a great shooter. That one is a non matching #'s Bulgarian. Got a receiver coming for the Tula 86 kit that I bought, then the long wait on NFA... again.
It's like putting crack in front of an addict :D

Bottom one has been the HD/game/go-to-school gun for, like, the past four years. Top one's the panic build I started throwing together in December on an already-finished lower I had lying around. It's got a lot of stuff on it that I've been meaning to try out, so it's kinda a work-in-progress.
