That's beautiful. Are you going to use it? (Serious question. Damascus looks so good and I have no idea how it holds up )

Here's some pocket knives (and one fixed blade) by my late friend Kit Carson.

Kit built my very first custom knife back in the middle to late 90's. It's the red bone Model 4 with CPM-420V steel.
The top Model 16 is all titanium (including screws) with a Stellite 6K blade so it is both non-magnetic and non-corrosive.
The damascus Model 16 is made entirely from Daryl Meier "clad" damascus (laminated steel). Kit gave me the opportunity to buy the knife for well under its value after helping him man his table at the Blade Show back around 1998 or so. It was featured in Blade Magazine in one of their articles on Kit's work.
The straight knife is made from D2, (one of Kit's favorite "traditional" steels along with 440C), and he sent it as a surprise gift one year.
Kit was a great knife maker but an even better man and will always be dearly missed.
FYI, Spyderco released the Para 3. I'm strongly considering a preorder for once.
While not a huge fan of FRN in general, I've always liked the Calypso Jr. pattern but end up giving them away.
I kept one of these with the ZDP-189 blades for myself...

Emerson CQC-7F S35VN. A bit more utilitarian than my P'Kal but still works well tip-down-edge-in.

I have a serious love/hate/love relationship with Spyderco FRN. Love the weight saving, hate that the grippiness isn't quite ideal, but still love the weight saving for a general use knife.
I had a pair of Enduras that I sanded strips of them down to stick skate tape in them, old-school Microtech style... but I gave one away and broke my personal one abusing it last year. :( Maybe I need to do that again sometime.
This is my current stash of folders. L to R: Benchmade Presidio Auto (2005-ish), Smith & Wesson M&P (Christmas gift from a well-intentioned friend), Spyderco Delica (first "real" knife, circa 2000), CRKT KISS Tanto ($15 at LGS). Not pictured is a Kershaw Chive I just sent back for a blade lock replacement. I used to have a thumb hole 1/2 serrated Mini Grip too, but lost it some years ago. I received some Amazon gift cards for Christmas this year with the intent of picking up another one. Currently trying to convince myself that blue/gray model isn't worth the extra $100.
