Oh, the days of wiping down my first .22 with that new-fangled WD-40 because a classmate told me it was the greatest lubricant, moisture displacer, preservative, and general petrochemical of all time. To this day I always keep a can of it around... just not for gun use. Despite having a bin full of lubricants I have accumulated/hoarded/impulse bought, I seem to use Slip 2000 or 2000 EWP most of the time nowadays.
