What is the process at major, official matches to determine power factor? I'm not asking about the math, I fully understand that. How many rounds are randomly sampled, weighed, and chronoed?
8 rounds are collected at random form each shooter.
One bullet is pulled and weighed.
Three are shot over the chronograph.
If you make it, you are good. If not, they shoot up to 3 more and use the average velocity of the best 3.
If you still haven’t made PF, you can get a new weight from the last bullet, or one more shot to make velocity.
