I don't carry a revolver on anything close to a regular basis. When I have, I've found the DeSantis Second Six is the only thing that hides and is secure. It's worked with both HKS and Comp II for me... at least for practicing speedloader stuff at the range. It works very well on a 1.5" belt.
It's the same idea as the Safariland Split Six. I may need to try the Safariland version just to compare.
FWIW, I straddle the belt with two behind and four in front. I like the idea of the belt pulling on only two rounds. Plus, with the Comp II, I worry a little less about pressing down and accidently releasing rounds if the belt is off-center of the loader. Does it matter in real life? I dunno.
